In the Vineyard: The winter leading into the 2015 growing season brought forth record cold temperatures. Many of our vines survived the blast of cold, leading into a strong growing season from bud break to harvest. The care and attention given to these vines included a heightened adjustment to all practices including leaf removal and crop load adjustments to balance the vines and provide optimal sun exposure. An average season full of varied rain days and sunshine culminated with this hand harvest of a mere two vineyard rows of Cabernet on October 15, 2015.
